You can’t fix what you don’t know. Canada lacks data on seniors' transportation. It is vital that we capture a national snapshot of the gaps and barriers surrounding seniors’ mobility and share this data with transportation stakeholders across Canada in order to make meaningful changes. F.A.S.T. Track can only achieve this with your help; please complete the Community Profile Form now.
Are you familiar with seniors' transportation challenges in your community? We want to hear from you. Tell us your observations, thoughts and concerns around the challenges you face in making sure older people get around and stay connected within your community. Only have limited data or knowledge? That's okay, just submit what you can.
By contributing your knowledge, you are helping to give the sector something that it has never had before; a national portrait of seniors' transportation challenges.
The Community Profile Form is for municipalities, organizations or anyone who has knowledge of/ interest in seniors transportation in Canada. Have you or a loved one experienced a challenge directly? We would like to hear your experience so please complete our Seniors Transportation survey.
Submit your solution
F.A.S.T. Track focuses on identifying innovative solutions and concepts that can be replicated and scaled. Does your community currently have a transportation solution in place for older adults? Is it working well? Or do you have an idea to provide better transportation for older people in your community? F.A.S.T. Track your innovation by submitting it to us online! We are interested in services, programs, technologies, products, etc.
A panel of experts in aging and transportation will assess each submission for viability, innovation and capacity to positively impact older community members. Winners will be announced at our National Conference in 2022. Selected submissions will receive national recognition and support to explore the acceleration of their solution to close the gap on senior’s transportation.
To submit for an Award, your organization will first complete the F.A.S.T. Track Community Profile Form. Once this is submitted, you will receive a link to complete the Award Submission Form in either the SCALE or TEST Stream. Please see the Awards instructions for further details.
